New system bugs [fixed]

For starters I really like this game but I found many bugs in the new system being used. LOCKUPS- it is very easy to lockup a card. if you start anything from casting a spell to moving a creature and acidently click on a card before you are finished with the action it can become locked. Sometimes the card will comepletely freeze up, but mostly you can’t use it’s abilities. I found that moving a creature unlocks it. I think it has something to do with the recharge timer reseting everything. Sadly creatures can’t always move and if it is a resource your screwed. PARASITIC BEETLE— All the correct creatures that this little fella should take control of are not programmed into it yet. I have found it’s ability only works on about half the creatures as the earlier version. Example: it works on Sword Master Calian but not Nator the Barbarrian. TAKING CONTROL BUG— when you take control of a creature it’s action tab never appears. This is the same for if you use a spell or creature ability. The only thing you can do is the quick ability granted by clicking on the card. This gives you a creature that can either attack OR move, not both, and much less any spell stuff it can normally do. MISSING TEXT— I noticed that when playing, the resource cards like Large Quary and Redwood have the text missing that says they increase storage. They do increase the storage, but this might throw off a new players. Adding the text to the card would help. MASS ATTACK— This is all messed up. any creature with mass attack can’t attack. when you press the attack icon all possible targets light up but then it stops and wants you to select a target. after selecting something the ability fizzles. The attack time doesn’t even start charging again. This used to be an auto attack. There might be something missing telling it to auto attack once the command is issued. PARIN THE FIRE MAGE- This cards ability doesn’t work. The same exact effect happens as with mass attack. I think they might have the same problem. CHARGE— I didn’t use charge much before the new system but here’s some strange stuff. First-Charge bonusses don’t work on population. Second- The Flying Unicorn doesn’t get a charge for every block it moves. It only gets a charge every time it moves. I’m pretty sure the flying has something to do with it. MIND SOLDIERS AND WARRIORS— You can’t cast these creatures if your stack is empty. It looks like drawing a card was attached to the casting cost. If you have no more cards to draw, you can’t cast any of these creatures. GENERAL BUG— Sometime when I go to play using quick start, duel, or anything else,, my chosen deck is not used. Instead, I get the generic default deck. Once this starts happening it continues even if I log out. The only way I get it to stop and go back to normal is if I go into a deck and resave one. I even tried changing decks but the default kept coming back. I have to actually go into a deck and save it before the game goes back to normal. I really enjoy this game and understand it is not finished. These bugs are not one time deals. I make sure I can repeat them before I post them. |

I think he really meant Hunny – it’s also “slang” for Honey. It’s called this way by the famous Winnie the Pooh :), see http://www.sacredart-murals.co.uk/images/mural-… Its also a kind of word play. Hunny/Honey is the bears affection – his dearest love. |

Awesome, that mass attack thing was important. This isn’t a bug but I think it still might fit in this section. EXIT TO HOME PAGE BUTTON— In the older version there was a nice little button to return to the home page. There isn’t one in the new version. This button was great for when the game freezes up. It’s also good if something comes up and you have to leave a game. And it’s great for testing decks, because if your deck is not working you don’t have to wait until the very end of the dual to make adjustments. |

I can’t reproduce the PARASITIC BEETLE-Bug. Maybe it had to do with the TAKE CONTROL-Bug. If you still have the bug, please inform me. |

I have the default deck bug problem. |

Very nice. I found no bugs today. Thought I had a couple but was wrong. Forest Behemoth in game text is different than out of game text. In game it fails to mention the +4 damage to buildings. Thought I found another with Animal Lord, but griffins are not listed as animals. p.s. I think I was wrong about the beetles. I believe I failed to acount for the spell range. sorry. |

I am trying to use a custom deck for a duel, but it keeps bringing up heroes and Knights instead. First time I’ve tried the new client. Are custom decks not yet usable? |

Try switching to another deck and then back to the one you want, there is a bug as mentioned above, but you can get it to use your decks. |

fixed DECK-SWITCHING-Bug (GENERAL BUG) The Charge-Bonus now gets applied on population attacks. It still only gets added per move/fly-Action not per moved block. This would be very difficult to code right now. Therefore it will stay this way. |
