Today, I changed and rebalanced the values of all cards. The scale is a little lower now. This means a fighter which had 5 Attack and 10 Health, now has only 3 Attack and 6 Health. All cards have been changed accordingly to fit the new scale.

Why? The new scale makes it easier to calculate the outcome in a hectic battle :). It also make +1 Attack more meaningful.

Besides the scale, there were many smaller changes and improved card texts. The cards a now classified as

  • Unit: Play to kingdom, moveable
  • Building: Play to kingdom, no movement (of course :)
  • Spell: Play and Discard
  • Event: Same as Spell, but without the mana
  • Artefact: can vary

In order to more easily distinguish the speed of cards actions, there are now 5 categories:

  • very slow
  • slow
  • normal (not noticed on the card)
  • fast
  • very fast

This applies to attack, movement and play.

So that’s it for tonight, I hope the cards are more easy to understand now.
